Wow, sometimes people amaze me with their carelessness and callousness. Is it that hard to pack up a piece of pottery to make it safely two states through USPS? Um, apparently, because the pottery jar I painted for Dakota didn't make it here. It's in like 100 pieces because stupid ex-friend couldn't even put some bubble wrap around the thing. Duh.
I think she did it on purpose. Call me paranoid, but I think she simply didn't give a crap, therefore didn't care how she packed it. Well bitch, YOU paid money to ship it, so it's your loss! And uh, P.S.? I kinda hate you.
....
Anyhoo, unemployment's a weird thing. Thinking about road tripping to Illinois (back to the parents) in May. Some people might not agree. But MY MY MY decision. :) It's going to be 4400 miles round trip. Wowza!! Holy guacamole. Looooooong drive. I would take DK with me.
I'm going to keep quiet about my thoughts about my old job and all that. I have nothing bad to say about the company at ALL. I think I just had a negative experience because it wasn't the right fit for me. And I hung in there (almost) 5 months, but it just wasn't working. It wasn't going to, either. And I knew that...
It was abrupt and I feel bad about that. My old team is scrambling a little but... I felt like I had little other choice. Sad. Very sad.
